Thursday afternoon I met Ben and Leslie over in Kewaunee at Parallel 44 winery for their engagement shoot.  Their wedding is coming up in a little over a month and I after hearing all of the details about the big day, I am super excited I am the one they chose to document it for them!  We had a gorgeous, sunny afternoon for their engagement photos and it was great getting to know these two(and wine for that matter) a little more in between shots.  I had never photographed anyone at a vineyard before and wasn’t sure what to expect, but it ended up being fabulous.  Tammy and everyone else at Parallel 44 were great to work with and the vineyard and winery are just gorgeous!

Ben and Leslie, I hope you love the images we captured!  October 2oth will be here before we know it!

Monday afternoon I headed down to Devil’s River Campground to photograph Lindsey and Matt, whose wedding I am photographing in October.  Now, Lindsey and Matt are from my hometown of Oconto Falls and I know I have said it before, but I ADORE shooting these OF weddings.  The Falls is a pretty small city where everyone knows each other and when I get to an OF wedding, I always end up knowing not only wedding guests, but most of the wedding party as well.   And when Lindsey and Matt told me who was in their wedding party, well, lets just say I will now be counting down the days to this shin-dig as it is going to be a ridiculous fun time!  Now Monday afternoon it was HOT.  Super hot.  And after their 45 minute session we were all dripping with sweat, but thankfull the photos show none of that and turned out awesome!

Matt and Lindsey, I hope the next 2 months fly by for you guys!  I can’t wait to be there to capture you wedding day for you!  (and I fully intend to give Schimdt and Floater some crap)  😉

you two are adorable!Devil’s River is such a gorgeous place to shoot!See you in October!

Sunday afternoon I met Erin and Chris over at Pamperin Park for their engagement session.  Erin contacted me a few week ago about shooting their wedding this coming February and I was so excited to meet them and get all the details on the big day!  It’s always a good sign during an engagement shoot when there are no lulls in the conversation.  It usually means that the bride and groom and I have lots in common, similar interests, and personalities that mesh well together.  That was definitely the case Sunday afternoon.  I had such a lovely time walking around the park with these two!  We probably could have chatted another hour, but these two are so photogenic, I got everything we needed in about 45 minutes!

Chris and Erin, thanks so much for asking me to take these photos for you!  I can’t wait to document the wedding for you come February!

Monday night I headed up to my hometown of Oconto Falls to do some engagement photos for my good friend Ashley and Devin.  These two are getting married this coming January in Mexico and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them both!  We started the session up at my grandma’s old barn in Spruce and finished up at the golf course in Oconto Falls, a place that both Ashley and Devin spend a good chunk of time. :)

Devin and Ashley, thanks for asking me to take your engagement photos!  I hope you love them!

Dev and Ashley are SO not the PDA type of people, but I did have to make them kiss just a few times to get a few images like this!this is more the type of people they are.  crazy and fun.  there is a reason we are friends.  :)

Saturday morning I headed over to Devil’s River Campground in Denmark to meet Ally and Travis for their engagement photos.  I am shooting their wedding next June, but this was the first time I had met them in person and they were so fabulous to work with!  They are a gorgeous couple and SO easy-going and photogenic, it made my job easy!  They were even brave enough to trespass with me to get a couple of cool shots in front of an old stone building!

Travis and Ally, it was so nice to finally meet you!  I can not wait to shoot your wedding next summer!  I hope you love the sneak peek of your engagement session.  :)

how cool is this place?!  yeah.  we had to run across a field (in fear of being caught) to get there, but it was all worth it. :)

Tuesday afternoon I headed up  Little Suamico to meet Ryan and Liz at Geano Beach for their engagement session.  These two are both from my hometown and when Liz contacted me about shooting their wedding next Labor Day weekend, I was THRILLED.  You see, I love shooting weddings when both the bride and groom are from the Falls.  It almost guarantees that I will know at least a few people in the wedding party and, well, I always feel more comfortable bossing people that I know around on the wedding day:)  We met at Geano Beach because it is a special place to Ryan and Liz.  Ryan grew up just down the road and Liz told me she was standing in the bar one night, looked over at him and it was there that she realized that she really liked him.  And down the road as their relationship progressed, again, it was at Geano Beach where Ryan asked Liz’s dad for permission to marry her.  I love that they incorporated this location into their photos.

Liz and Ryan, it was so nice chat with you guys Tuesday!  I can NOT wait to be a part of your wedding day!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

Their reception is at Lambeau Field, so it was only appropriate to do a few in Packer gear

Ryan works for a beer distributor…can you guess which one?  :)

When I woke up Thursday morning I was not sure we were going to get Mandy and Ian’s engagement session done later that afternoon as we had planned.  It was a rainy, dark and overcast morning.  And at 1pm an hour before I was to meet them, it was pouring.  BUT low and behold, at 2pm the sun came out and we were able to get some fabulous images of these two at the Wildlife Sanctuary here in Green Bay.  I am photographing their wedding next August and after meeting and chatting with these two, I am SO looking forward to it.  It sounds like it is going to be a gorgeous day!  **and note to self.  Don’t forget a ladder the day of the wedding.  These two are former basketball players and both of them TOWER over me.  :)

Ian and Mandy, it was SO nice to meet you guys!  I hope the rest of the wedding planning goes smoothly and that you LOVE the images we captured!

Sunday morning Michael and Katie met me over at Devil’s River Campground for their engagement session. I am so super pumped that these two decided to have me photograph their wedding.   They are sweet and friendly and funny and just a fabulous couple to share time with.   It was a gorgeous, unseasonably warm, morning and I had so much fun walking around and chatting with these two about their upcoming nuptials.  We have a few mutual friends/coworkers and I have heard enough about their families and wedding party to know that they are going to be throwing one heck of a party come March.

Mike and Katie, I had such a lovely time with you guys Sunday.  Mike, I hope your permagrin went away at some point that day. :)  Hope you guys love the sneak peek!

look!  they are so excited to be getting married they are jumping for joy.  ha.

they seem to know how to make each other laugh:)

I love these last two.  adorable couple.  great old barn.  awesome.

Monday night I met Jennifer and Randy over at Devil’s River campgound for their engagement photos.  I met these two a few weeks back when they booked me to photograph their April 2012 wedding and we immediately hit it off.  They are so sweet and down to earth, I am honored they chose me to shoot their wedding.  And I LOVE that they chose Devil’s River for their engagement photos.  It is SUCH a gorgeous place!

Randy and Jenny, so nice to see you guys again!  Can’t wait till the big day!  Enjoy the sneak peek!
