The Wamboldt Family invades Door County-Green Bay Family Photography

Bright and early Monday morning I headed on up to Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek for a family session with the Wamboldt Family.  Now, I have been photographing Jerry and Laura’s family for quite a few years.  I did both kids weddings a few years back and we’ve done family photos in the past too.  Well, since that last family session in the fall of 2009, their family has grown quite a bit.  Last July Melissa and Dave had a baby girl, Miss Elle, who is now one.  And in January Adam and Amy had twin boys!  It was my first time meeting Aiden and Ashton and I was just smitten with them.  Such handsome little men!

I love photographing the Wamboldt’s because they are very similar to my family.  They are super close-knit.  Everyone gets along.  And they have all sorts of family traditions they do year after year.  Including this week long camping trip to Door County.  Now, I am sure it was a bit different this year with three babies along for the ride, but they seemed to be having a fabulous time when I left Monday morning.  And Peninsula State Park is GORGEOUS.  Once my boys are a bit older, we are totally doing a little getaway up there in our pop-up!

Jerry and Laura, thank you SO much for asking me up to photograph your family again!  I had a great time and I hope you guys enjoyed the heck out of the rest of your week!

Grandpa and Grandma with sleeping (waking) babies!

my favorite family shot of the day.  This lighthouse was a such a cool old building!

grandbabies.  in buckets.  ha.

don’t you just want to eat these two up!?!

and to end the session, they all got in their suits and headed headed to the beach!  How fun is this?!!!
