Wednesday morning I headed over to De Pere to photograph itty bitty baby Caylee and her big sister Camryn.  Caylee was 2 weeks old on the day of her session and, well, perfect.  She had the BEST hair…blonde and ALL over the place.  And the sweetest little face with rosebud lips.  Just so precious.  And her big sister was a total HAM for my camera.  She was a big helper for me too…helped me set up all my gear and take it back out to my car.  If I could hire a 3 year old assistant, it would be her! :)

Heather, it was so lovely to meet you and your girls!  Hope you love the sneak peek!

Monday afternoon I headed over to Eric and Maria’s house to photograph their week old baby boy, little Oliver.  Now, I just photographed Maria’s belly photos about a month ago and at that time Maria had told me that 7 girls she works with were all pregnant at the same time and all of them were expecting girls…all of them except Maria.  She and Eric didn’t find out what they were having and after I heard about all those girls, I secretly thought she would have a boy to start evening out the mix. :)  Well, I guessed correctly and I am just so thrilled for these two to have a son.  Oliver was only 7 days old at the time of our session, but he was SO alert!  He was awake for much of our session, but fell asleep at the very end so we were able to get a few of the sleeping baby photos I love doing!

Eric and Maria, your boy is gorgeous!  Enjoy every second of the next few months because they go by in the blink of an eye!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

isn’t he just so handsome?!a few with momma and daddy!don’t you just want to kiss those little cheeks?

Monday morning I headed over to Howard to photograph week old baby Norah.  Her mom Kristin was smart and contacted me about little Norah’s newborn session back in February when she was beginning her third trimester.  That is the ideal time to get your session set up, especially in the summer months when I am booking 2-3 months in advance.  Baby Norah did so well for her session.  She slept most of the time, gave me a few shots with her eyes open and then let us know at the end when she was done! :)

Kristin and Pete, your girl is absolutely gorgeous.  Thanks for asking me to capture her first portraits!  Hope you love them!

sweet little grinI love this shot of the three of them!

Tuesday morning Joe and Sarah brought their brand new baby girl over for her very first photo shoot.  Baby Kaidyn was 2 weeks old at the time of our session and just a sweet as can be.  She slept through almost the entire session and she didn’t poop on any of my props…let me tell you, that seldom happens! :)   Sarah’s coworkers gave her a newborn session gift certificate for her baby shower and I LOVE printing these up for people.  If you are thinking about getting someone you know a gift certificate, email me and we can chat!

Joe and Sarah, I hope you love the sneak peek of your little angel!

little smirk :)those lips!  eeee!

Monday afternoon I headed over to DePere to photograph sweet baby Brooklyn.  Her parents Scott and Ashley were wonderful to work with and just smitten with their wee little girl.  And rightfully so.  Brooklyn is just a beautiful baby.  And when I arrived she was wide awake, so I took that opportunity to take some family photos and some where we could see those dark blue eyes!  She did eventually fall asleep though and was a perfect model the entire time.

Scott and Ashley, it was so nice to sit and chat with you.  And to cuddle that sweet girl of yours.  She is just perfect and I hope you love the images from her first photo session!

the yellow blankie in these next two shots was Scott’s when he was young.  so sweet!Scott is into music and wanted a shot with his guitar.  love this!ahh, isn’t she lovely?

Monday morning I headed up to Oconto Falls to photograph baby Eden.  Her mom Steph graduated a few years behind me at OFHS and was good friends with my younger sister in high school, so it was so lovely to catch up with her and cuddle on her sweet girl.  Eden did really well for her photos.  She was a bit restless for a while, but after a bottle and a little cuddling from Momma, she was good to go and we got some adorable images!

Steph, I hope you and Bill love the images of your wee little girl!  She is just beautiful!

look at those lips!  eeeee!  little rosebuds!and baby wrinkles…love emand she even opened her eyes for a bit.  isn’t she gorgeous?!

Friday morning I headed over to Bellevue to photograph baby Carly.  Her mom Katie called me about a week ago and asked if I could squeeze them in  for an itty bitty session as her and her hubby had just adopted a baby girl.  Of course I said yes and I am so glad I was able to find the time because Carly was a DREAM to photograph.  She didn’t make a peep the entire two hours I was there, but apparently, that is nothing new.  Katie told me that she has never really heard Carly cry in the two weeks since she has been born!  Isn’t that insane?!  I mean, she whimpers a bit, but never really cries.  That just floored me.  And besides not being one to use her voice, she is one of the cutest little girls I have ever laid eyes on.  ack.  Just gorgeous.

Katie, thanks so much for asking me to take little Carly’s photos.  I could have sat and chatted with you all day!  It warms my heart to hear stories like yours and I am so glad that you guys were finally able to start your family together!  Enjoy the sneak peek!

Last Friday I headed over to Ian and Leah’s house to photograph their latest addition, baby Eli.  I photographed Ian and Leah’s wedding back in 2009, their belly photos, and have photographed their first born, Ian Jr, since he was born in July 2010.  I feel so honored that so many of my past clients continue to ask me to photograph the milestone events in their lives.  It’s amazing to watch a family grow and change over the years.

Now little Eli ws over 9 pounds when he was born, so he was a big boy, but he still slept like an angel for most of his session.  He did fabulous and we got some super adorable shots.   We attempted to do a few with big brother, but Ian Jr was having NONE of it.  We did however get a couple of cute shots of Ian Jr alone.  :)

Leah, it was so great to catch up and chat about all things baby with you.  Your boys are precious and you guys are going to ADORE having two boys so close in age.  It is so amazing to watch them grow and play and love (and sometimes pound) on each other. :)  Hope you love the sneak peek!

I have sure had some smiley newborns lately!Big brother!

Tuesday  morning I headed over to Howard to meet baby Collin and his mom Julie.  Collin is Julie’s second baby boy and just a schmushy, lovey little love bug.  It took him a while to get into the newborn photo groove and fall into a sound sleep, but once he did, we got some great shots.

Julie, it was lovely to meet you.  I swear, we just met, but I could have chatted about babies and birth and kiddos all day.  I hope you and the rest of the family love the images of your latest addition!

Isn’t he just a doll??!

Wednesday morning I headed over to Howard to meet Danielle, Nick and their brand new baby boy Blake.  Blake was just 8 days old on the day of our session and was a perfect little model.  He was much more alert than most babies his age and showed off his gorgeous brown eyes for a little bit.  But after a bit of cuddling with Momma, he fell asleep and we were able to get some awesome sleepy baby photos as well.

Danielle and Nick, it was lovely to meet you.  Your little man is gorgeous and I hope you love the sneak peek!

we started off with some family shots…

itty bitty baby parts.  love em.isn’t he handsome?this was a test shot making sure the light was set up for the image below(hence the blankie still on his back), but little Blake gave me the best smile, so I had to include it in the sneak peek!another wee little smile.  such a love.
