In April 2011 I photographed the birth of baby #5 for my clients, and friends, Amber and Chad whose family I have been photographing for years.  It was, hands down, one of my most memorable days as a photographer.  Just awesome to be a part of something so exceptional, such a wonderful day in a families life.  And when Amber called me early this year and told me that baby #6 was on the way and that they would like me there with them again, I was so honored…and excited.  The whole process of birthing a baby has always been fascinating to me, especially after having my own children.  Just such a magical time in the story of a family.

Chad and Amber’s sixth baby was born today and I woke up feeling so nervous and thrilled for them.  Another little bundle of joy to bring into their home!  I got to the hospital at 8:30 and after only 3 hours of waiting, I watched Amber deliver a gorgeous baby girl.  They named her Jayci Emilie Lousie and she was 7lb 12 oz of perfection.  And a head full of black curls!  And she made their family a perfect little Brady Bunch.  Three boys and three girls!

Amber and Chad, thanks again so much for trusting me to capture these precious memories for you guys.  I love that you guys have welcomed me into your family and lives the way you have.  Your latest addition is just beautiful and I can’t wait to see you guys again for your newborn session next week!  Enjoy these images from your little girl’s birthday…
