Brody Lee-itty bitty

Tuesday afternoon I headed out to Suamico for a newborn session with Nicol, Jeff and their brand new bouncing baby boy, little Brody.  I photographed Nicol and Jeff’s wedding back in 2009 and have since become Facebook friends with Nicol.  I was so excited when they announced their pregnancy and THRILLED when she asked me to shoot his very first photo session.  I gave Nicol some tips before I came over that usually ensures we’ll have a happy baby for photos(warm house, full belly, ready for a nap).  Well, it was 75 degrees in their house, he had just had a bottle and he had been awake for 5 hours before I arrived.  You would think that would make for a sleepy baby, right?  Nope.  Turns out little Brody wanted to be WIDE awake for most of his session, little stinker pants.  It all worked out in the end though and we got some fabulous images…even a few during his 2 minute cat nap of a sleeping baby Brody:)

Nicol and Jeff, it was so lovely chatting with you guys again!  Your little man is gorgeous!  I could have cuddled on him all night!  Enjoy your sneak peek!
